INCEPTION
- Entrepreneur Cell was established in 2013.
- The Cell has been extending its service to create Entrepreneurs every year.
- Entrepreneurship Cell Started Free Cetificate Courses .
OBJECTIVES
- To make the students to know the objectives, needs and importance of Entrepreneur Cell.
- To give awareness about unemployment problems prevailing in the society.
- To give orientation to the students about small business, its opportunities and importance.
- To create awareness about understanding micro, small and medium Enterprises & small service institute.
- To instill marketing skill among the students by selling Napkins and artificial flowers made by Entrepreneur Cell and SARWODEEP.
- To motivate the students to produce various products through Entrepreneurship Programme.

Promoting entrepreneurship and innovation in youth through effective entrepreneur competency development, advocacy, training and communication leading to job growth and development of Micro and Small enterprises.
VISION
Spreading an aspirational entrepreneurship and business innovation culture among potential youth and emerging as the resource centre in education, training and practice in entrepreneurship & innovation.

Celebrated World Entrepreneur’s Day in collaboration with IIC on 18/08/2022. Chief Guest : Ms.S.Gracy klymancia (M.com)Young Entrepreneur, Holy cross college, Nagercoil gave a Hands on Training on “Cake Preparation”.
- Entrepreneurship Innovation awareness program : 26th August 2022 Morning 10-1pm we celebrated World Entrepreneur’s Day along with Mother Teresa Women’s university, Kodaikanal. Entrepreneurship cell and IIC jointly celebrated. Mrs.V.Archana, Field co-ordinator, EDII, MTWU, HUB, Kodaikanal gave awareness about CEO’s of various industries in and around Tamilnadu.Mr.S.Vasanthan, CEO, EDII, Harti Business Incubation Forum, Periyakulam, shared about “Supporting schemes offered to the entrepreneur.”
- Three Days Faculty development program on Entrepreneurship development
Mrs.J.Jasmine Selvapackiam, Assistant Professor of BBA & Sr.A.Shaya Berlin Sujana, co-ordinator of Community college and B.Voc, attended Three days Faculty Development Program this programe. (26-09-2022 – 28-09-2022) at Mother Teresa Women’s University, Research & Extension Centre, Keelakuilkudi, Madurai.
- V.Jemima Florence Borgia and 5 of our Entrepreneur Cell members attended “E-leader workshop” on 17th& 18th October 2022 at MT university, Kodaikanal and presented their innovative business ideas.
- Candle Making Training
The Entrepreneurship cell and Institutional Innovation Council jointly organizes Hand’s on training Programme in “Candle making” on 17th & 18th October 2022 at 3.30 pm in E-Cell Room Sr.Sahaya leenus, Assistant professor of Chemistry, Jayaraj Annapackiam College for women (Autonomous) Periyakulam, served as a Resource person.
Students from Tamil, Maths and Commerce department prepared candles for All souls day, easter, and candle lighting ceremony. Profit earned by them was distributed among the students to pay their exam fees and semester fees.Profit: Profit of Rs.8700, earned by our students through candle making was distributed among the students to pay their exam fees.
