OBJECTIVES
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the College, established in 2004, strives to enhance and sustain the quality of the institution. It aims:
- To arrange for periodic assessment and accreditation of the institution
- To promote quality in teaching–learning and research
- To encourage self-evaluation, accountability, autonomy, and innovation
- To undertake quality-related research studies, consultancy, and training programmes
- To collaborate with stakeholders in higher education for quality evaluation, promotion, and sustenance
FUNCTIONS
- Development and application of quality benchmarks/parameters for the various academic and administrative activities of the Institution
- Dissemination of information on the various quality parameters of higher education
- Organization of workshops, seminars on quality related themes an promotion of quality circles
- Documentation of the various programmes/activities leading to quality improvement
- Acting as a nodal agency of the institution for quality – related activities
- Periodical conduct of Academic and Administrative Audit and its follow-up
- Identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the institutional processes through feedback from the stakeholders
- Preparation and submission of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per guidelines and parameters of NAAC
